Improving the Consensus Process Recommendations (6/3/2009)
In response to the LWVUS National Popular Vote Compact study, a caucus was held at the LWVNYS convention entitled, “Working Together to Make the Consensus Process More Efficient”. The caucus developed a report, which was distributed via the LWVUS NPV discussion list serve and given to the LWVUS Program Planning Committee. The LWVUS NPV Compact Committee and Program Planning Committee have issued recommendations to LWVUS, and Mary Wilson has posted her remarks on the consensus process on the LWVUS web site. We encourage everyone to read these documents.
