This mailing list replaces the old list serve program we utilized with Yahoo
Groups to communicate with all of you.

 

What is a mailing list and how does it work??

The mailing list is a system designed to simplify the process of sending the
same message to a group of people via e-mail. The e-mail is sent to the
mailing list address, and the mail server distributes the message to
everyone who is subscribed to the mailing list.  WHAT DOES THAT MEAN???  If
you would like to send a message to all of the local League Presidents in
NYS, all you have to do is to type the address:
LocalLeagueFinanceandDevelopment at lwvny.org into the "TO" line of your
e-mail, similar to the way you  send a message to a single person.

 

Who is on the LL Finance and Development Mailing List?

The entire Board (an updated list is attached for your convenience) and all
local League Finance and Development Chairs.  

 

What will I receive as part of the local League Finance and Development
mailing list?

You will receive messages from the LWVNYS Board, especially the VP for
Development, Lucille Argenzia, as well as messages from other local League
Finance and Development Chairs and the E-SBR (electronic version of the
State Board Report). 

 

How do I subscribe or unsubscribe?
