<p class=MsoNormal>The mailing list is a system designed to simplify the
process of sending the same message to a group of people via e-mail. The e-mail
is sent to the mailing list address, and the mail server distributes the
message to everyone who is subscribed to the mailing list. WHAT DOES THAT
MEAN??? If you would like to send a message to all of the local League
Presidents in NYS, all you have to do is to type the address: <a
href="mailto:LocalLeagueVoterService@lwvny.org">LocalLeagueVoterService@lwvny.org</a>
into the “TO” line of your e-mail, similar to the way you
send a message to a single person.<o:p></o:p></p>
