Important Dates to Remember
Primary Election – June 23, 2026
Early Voting: June 13 – June 21, 2026
June 13
- Last day for IN-PERSON Voter Registration; MAIL IN registrations must be received by a Board of Elections.
June 22
- Last day to apply IN-PERSON for absentee or early mail in ballot.
June 23
- Last day to postmark ballot. We suggest you send your mail in ballot or absentee ballot as soon as possible. It must be received by the local Board of Elections no later than Nov. 11. Military Voter Ballots must be received no later than Nov. 17.
- Last day to deliver ballot IN-PERSON to the local Board of Elections or to any poll site in your county.
General Election – November 3, 2026

New York State Board of Elections Online Voter Registration
Use the QR code to register online to vote or update your voter information through the NYS Board of Elections. This could be a two-step process for some as a NY.Gov ID is required to register. If you have not used NY.Gov you will need to create an account.
Golden Day
Referred to as “Golden Day,” October 24 (general election), is the final day to register to vote AND also the first day of Early Voting. All those eligible to register to vote in New York State may use an affidavit ballot AND vote on October 24.

Enrolling as an organ and tissue donor
