Participating in Political Action in Your Local Community
Civics: Participating in Political Action in Your Local Community
In this lesson, students will be asked to identify an issue in their community that is important to them. After researching the different levels of their own local government, students will draft a letter to the appropriate government official stating their position and offering changes to public policy on that issue.
